Registration for the 13th International Film Music Competition

A springboard for talented film music composers from all over the world.

The 13th edition of the International Film Music Competition will take place on 2 October 2025 in collaboration with the Zurich Film Festival. Composers from all over the world are cordially invited to register for the film music competition.

This time, the short film "Wild Love" by Paul Autric, Quentin Camus, Léa Georges, Maryka Laudet, Zoé Sottiaux and Corentin Yvergniaux will be scored.

An international jury of experts will select three compositions from the submissions, which will be premiered by the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich under the direction of Frank Strobel. The jury will select the winning composition on the same evening and present the Golden Eye "Best International Film Music 2025", which is endowed with CHF 10,000.

The deadline for submission of competition documents (score and audio files) is 16 June 2025
