On the Road
We have been touring Europe and the world for decades. We have played in more than 100 cities in over 30 countries. This season, we will also be exploring new places and new concert halls.
Concerts in foreign cities and concert halls are a challenge, because the conditions for playing together differ in every location. Travelling together, listening to each other in different acoustic settings, meeting new audiences: all this enriches us and enhances our perception of the music we perform. This is why we always return to our Zurich audience full of inspiration.
When we have success elsewhere, it boosts our self-confidence; this in turn inspires us when we perform at home

We will be on the road again in the 2025/26 season. Before the start of the Zurich season, we will be guests in Gstaad and Bucharest, with a guest performance in Muri in October. In November, we will kick off our three-year residency in Baden-Baden, which will focus on our Mahler cycle; we will also play two concerts at the Vienna Musikverein, as well as guest appearances in Cologne, Paris, Dortmund and, for the first time, at La Scala in Milan. And finally, we will be travelling to Japan and South Korea together with violinist Janine Jansen and pianist Kyohei Sorita from 17 to 27 May.
