The cello section of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich has also established itself as an independent ensemble in recent years. At its very first performance, it teamed up with the then focus artist Kian Soltani - now Sol Gabetta, a highly prominent soloist and focus artist, will once again join the orchestra's twelve cellists on stage. What they will play is still being worked out and will only be announced later.
