Born in 2000, Russian oboist Leonid Surkov has already presented his instrument in every conceivable constellation: He is active as a chamber musician in a wind quintet and, following various orchestral positions, he is now principal oboist with the Musikkollegium Winterthur. And as a soloist, he has won various prizes and played a number of concerts. He has also often performed in Switzerland - for example with CHAARTS or the Basel Philharmonic Orchestra. Now he presents himself to Zurich audiences with a programme that is just as varied as his career.
