Born in Germany in 2000, Aurel Dawidiuk is pursuing three different careers at once: both as a pianist and organist, he has won prestigious prizes and performed on major stages. He is also taking off as a conductor - for example as a permanent guest conductor with the Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam. In his organ recital in the Série jeunes, he now combines works by Bach with homages to Bach. Incidentally, he began his musical career in the Hanover Boys' Choir. "Singing teaches you how to breathe," says Aurel Dawidiuk - and thus something that can also be transferred to the organ, piano or orchestra.
