In the 2025/26 season, the chamber music lunch concerts offer an "Homage to France" - and French female composers play a special role in the programme. In addition to works by her male contemporaries Leclair, Boismortier, Rameau and Couperin, this Baroque programme also includes a trio sonata by Élisabeth-Claude Jacquet de la Guerre. She came from a family of musicians and probably received the best support imaginable at the time: As a talented harpsichordist, she impressed the Sun King Louis XIV at the age of five, who entrusted her to the care of his mistress Madame de Montespan and supported her financially until his death. She consistently dedicated her works to him. But it was not only the king who was enthusiastic about her: In the journal "Le Mercure Galant" in 1678, she was described as a "marvel of our century".
