Mika is lying in bed with a broken leg. She is bored and sad because she is missing out on everything her friends are doing: going swimming, playing football, riding ponies and dancing. As evening slowly falls, a little gentleman in a chequered suit arrives in her room. His name is Mr Lilienstengel, he can fly and takes Mika with him to the land of twilight. This is by no means a distant land, rather the two of them fly around the various neighbourhoods of Zurich. It is a different Zurich to the one Mika has known so far. Here she drives a tram herself, the animals in the zoo run around freely, Smarties grow on the trees in the Lindenhof and, above all, Mika's broken leg can cope with everything. "Doesn't matter at all in the land of twilight," is Mr Lilienstengel's answer to everything else that is so impossible. Together with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Mika and Mr Lilienstengel take us on a fantastic journey.
